| In the Karoo, the air is so pure that the stars make every night look like a Christmas display. The sky is so clear that it can take most of a day to get to the horizon. But not everyone in the Karoo gets to see that far. Life detains some people at the end of a dirt road, with no view at all and no way out.
The Hantam Community Education Trust is changing that. Their project lights the way for other rural projects; and everyone there is a role model. Hantam’s a place where people give what they can, and become what they can. It’s a place where people hope, because they are brave enough to believe. And they are able do that because others believe in them.
